38 Grosvenor has recently joined the list of historic venues found in London. With an air of elegance and a prestigious past, it is situated in one of London’s most desirable areas, with excellent transport links surrounding it. The decor harks back to 18th-century decorative interiors with classically proportioned Georgian rooms and which inspire a range of different events from product launches, to conferences and private parties.

Grade II listed Coal House within Woodberry Wetlands nature reserve. Surrounded by wildlife, guests can watch birds taking flight across the water as the sun sets. Managed by London Wildlife Trust, this North London site offers reservoir views, a roof terrace and lawned garden – an ideal setting for parties and celebrations, product launch events, private dining; plus with a license for marriages.

EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney). A buried treasure, this discarded, long forgotten and beautiful Art Deco gem has lain hidden in Dalston for decades. EartH comprises two main spaces and a restaurant. On the ground floor, a multi-purpose 1200-capacity dedicated events space and upstairs the theatre, a 750-capacity tiered seated venue with jaw-dropping, original Art Deco features.

Situated in central East London, the original exposed brick walls and arched ceilings make for the perfect space for intimate and relaxed events.

Kachette is a popular and unique low-ceilinged railway arch, turned events venue. Situated in what was the ticket hall of the former Shoreditch Station, under the Old Street bridge. The railway arch venue was once home to the original ticket hall of Shoreditch Railway Station which operated from 1865 to 1940. The venue can be hired for one or two-room events, catering for up to 330 guests.

Centred on the iconic, award-winning, 6,000-seat velodrome , Lee Valley VeloPark is one of London’s most inspirational event spaces. The iconic London 2012 venue can be hired for exhibitions, conferences and unique events. It is actually breathtaking.

A refurbished Victorian foundry with five interlinking studios and two large secluded courtyards for event hire. The combination of exposed brickwork, oak flooring, large windows, high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and skylights that allow for daylight make this industrious warehouse space perfect for private celebrations, corporate events, weddings, product launches and live shows.

With two partially covered courtyards they can also facilitate the combination of indoor and outdoor events all year round.

Right in the heart of the City, the Museum of London tells the incredible story of London and its people. Now its beautifully designed event spaces can be hired exclusively for corporate and private parties. The state-of-the-art facilities offers a capacity of up to 1000 guests for a reception or 420 for a dinner, fully supported by a dedicated events team.

Guests can experience London’s history from 450,000 BC right up to the present as they approach the main event space in the London Ellipse Hall. More intimate events can be held in the museum’s galleries using one or more spaces.

The Museum of London Docklands is a significant Grade 1 listed building in West India Quay. Built in 1802, this Georgian warehouse is an unusual and historic setting for an event, where contemporary fittings mingle with original Caribbean pitch pine columns and floors. The Galleries, located over two floors, tell the story of London and the many transformations the Docklands area has undergone.

A Grade I listed 19th Century almshouses, surrounded by tranquil gardens in Hoxton, minutes north of the City. The Museum of the Home explores home and home life from 1600 to the present day through a series of evocative period London living rooms and gardens. The museum’s green and peaceful setting and central location make it an ideal venue for receptions, cocktail parties, press launches, photo shoots and meetings.

The Natural History Museum can proudly declare itself one of London’s oldest and most spectacular venues. There are eight event spaces, each one equal in grandeur. Taking a step back into history, guests can gaze on Romanesque architecture, whilst at the same time experiencing surreal pieces like the skeleton of a blue whale suspended from the ceiling in Hintze Hall, or have dinner surrounded by prehistoric fossils in Fossil Way.

Village Underground is an internationally recognised venue for creativity and culture in East London. Housed in a wonderful converted Victorian viaduct, ​it plays ​host​ to a compelling array of multi-faceted corporate and artistic events.

Amber Lakes is a luxury events venue 45 minutes drive west of London, minutes from Heathrow T5. Hosting an event on a grade I-listed tea clipper ship is bound to get your guests attention, whether you’re entertaining clients at a corporate event, product launch or award ceremony; or celebrating  here for a wedding or private event.  Built in 1869 to carry tea back from China, Cutty Sark offers more than just a grand spectacle, with a historic legacy that is sure to give your event an extra-special edge.

The main and most modern space is the Dry Berth, a stunning room that can hold up to 450 standing, or 270 people seated. The huge copper-clad hull suspended above the space creates an iridescent glow – akin to water – that really brings the venue’s nautical connotations to life.

The venue hire includes access to the ship itself, with options to hold dinners and receptions on the Tween Deck, with a capacity of 100 standing or 60 seated banquet-style; or a standing reception of up to 100 on the Weather Deck. The Weather Deck is an outdoor space located on the deck of the ship, with breathtaking views across London. This space is recommended for summer parties and drinks receptions. For larger events, guests can explore the ship on arrival, before descending to the main event space in the Dry Berth. 

Woolwich Works is a multi-disciplinary cultural hub on the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich.
