Syon Park is one of London’s most impressive event settings — a beautiful heritage estate in Brentford with sweeping outdoor space, historic surroundings and the scale to host major summer parties.

For Gail’s summer party, The Clementine at Syon Park became the backdrop for a huge day-to-night celebration, with KERB Events delivering outdoor street food, bars, drinks reception and full event catering operations for up to 1,500 guests.

The Brief

KERB Events was brought in to deliver a full summer party food and drink operation for Gail’s at Syon Park.

The brief was all about proper summer festival energy: welcome 550 daytime guests for the awards and reception, then open the event up for a further 950 evening guests with street food, outdoor bars and a smooth drinks operation running late into the night.

We curated a brilliant line-up of KERB traders across vans and gazebos, with each unit delivering 450 medium portions. The trader line-up included 450 Degrees pizza, Only Jerkin, Gamekeeper, Deluxe Dogs, Grilling Greek, Chubby Dumpling, Rice Bandits, Enak and Amani Kitchen — giving guests a generous, varied street food offer.

Big numbers, smooth event operations

With guests arriving in phases across the day, the operation needed careful planning from the first load-in to final close.

The daytime event opened at 14:00 with a prosecco and juice reception for 550 guests, followed by awards and presentations. From 18:00, the additional evening guests began arriving, food service started and the outside bars opened. Food and bar service ran through the evening to midnight.

Our team managed trader logistics, bar set-up, guest flow, health and safety, food safety requirements, allergen procedures, fire safety compliance, power, gas controls, staffing and on-site communication across the full event.

KERB’s bars bringing the summer party energy

The bar operation was built around a full day-to-night guest journey.

The event began with a prosecco and juice reception in the foyer, using dispense trestles, tray service for prosecco, and Kilner jars for juices and water. During the daytime event, the indoor venue bar served beer, wine and soft drinks via tokens, with spirits available as a cash bar.

From reception pours to outdoor summer party serves, the bars kept the event flowing from the first arrival to the final round.

Outdoor food, big guest numbers and festival-style delivery

Gail’s summer party gave KERB Events the chance to deliver a complete outdoor food and drink operation at serious scale with proper KERB atmosphere.

From the staggered trader load-in and large-format bar set-up to the daytime reception, evening food village and late-night drinks service, every element was planned around guest flow, speed of service and a brilliant summer party vibe.
