How we got here
THE KERB
KERB began as a pioneering collective of independent street food traders that swept to popularity on the streets of London, before opening our acclaimed flagship food hall, Seven Dials Market, in 2019. Fast forward to 2025 and our community has grown into a global network of exceptional independent food businesses – serving brilliant food at food halls, markets and events in the UK, Berlin, San Francisco and Copenhagen.
KERB TAKES THE FIRST BITE
KERB’s journey began with a pop-up market on a Kings Cross building site, uniting the best street food traders and sparking a movement that changed London’s food scene.
2012
THE LAUNCH OF KERB EVENTS
We launched KERB Events, taking our traders across the country to cater for events of all shapes and sizes.
2014
EVENTS GALORE
From The Bucket List to Livin’ on the Veg and KERB’s 5th Birthday Party, we celebrated with epic public events that brought street food fans together.
2017
NURTURING FRESH TALENT AND FLAVOUR
We formalised the free inKERBator programme, helping new food businesses take off. By nurturing fresh talent, we’ve kickstarted the journeys of the next generation of street food entrepreneurs.
2018
SEVEN DIALS MARKET OPENS
The launch of Seven Dials Market made waves. Our flagship food hall became a London food landmark, home to 20+ traders and 1.5 million visitors annually.
2019
TAKING CENTRE STAGE
We partnered with the National Theatre, combining world-class street food with iconic performances in a first-of-its-kind collaboration at one of London’s most iconic venues.
2020
CHRISTMAS AT KEW GARDENS
We became the official caterer for Christmas at Kew Gardens, serving 350,000 guests over 40 nights. And we’ve been back every year since.
2020
CHANGING LIVES THROUGH FOOD
In 2023 we launched our social enterprise, providing mentorship and opportunities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds – making an impact beyond the plate.
2023
KERB GOES GLOBAL
KERB went global, opening Saluhall in San Francisco and bringing our signature street food experience to the American audience.
2024
More flavour, more spaces
We opened Corner Corner in London’s Canada Water, and KERB Berlin in Germany. Giving permanent homes to 16 more street food traders.
